Epiphany of the Lord

COMING CLOSER TO CHRIST:
The entire Church celebrates the Solemnity of Epiphany as the culmination of the liturgical seasons of Advent and Christmas. The Magi were led by a wonderous new star in the sky which guided them to Christ. This encounter with the King of Kings, our Saviour, fulfilled their longings for lasting peace, joy and hope that the power, authority and wealth they possessed could not.

SERVING OTHERS:
In baptism I too am commissioned to be a “star”, that is a glorious sign, to lead searching hearts to the Lord. This week’s faith challenge is to bring someone new with you to Eucharistic adoration. Join us Friday after noon mass or find an adoration chapel near you. Come let us adore Him!
