40 Hours of Adoration

Save the Date:
40 Hours Adoration at Sacred Heart Parish

Join us for a special event of prayer and reflection.

Sacred Heart Parish will be hosting 40 Hours of Adoration from Friday, June 7th to Sunday, June 9th.

This cherished Catholic tradition offers a profound opportunity for prayer and devotion before the Blessed Sacrament. During this sacred time, parishioners gather for continuous adoration of Our Lord, truly present in the consecrated Host. The number 40 itself holds deep meaning, reminding us of the forty days Jesus spent fasting and facing temptation in the desert, as well as the forty hours His Sacred Body lay in the tomb before His glorious Resurrection.

Throughout these 40 hours, a spirit of prayer and watchfulness will fill our Church, allowing us to:

  • Deepen your connection with Jesus Christ
  • Offer prayers for vocations to the priesthood and religious life
  • Spend time in quiet reflection and adoration

Show your devotion!

Sign up for your preferred hour of Adoration below. To ensure continuous prayer, we kindly ask for a minimum of 3 people to register for each hour.

We especially need your prayerful presence during the early morning hours. Consider the peace and focus these quiet times can offer for your own reflection and a unique opportunity to be close to Jesus.
