5th Sunday of Lent

COMING CLOSER TO CHRIST:  This week’s gospel is the raising of Lazarus (Jn 11). It shows how much Christ shares in our suffering: Jesus was deeply moved and wept at the death of Lazarus. But he also went to him to bring him to life….to call him from the tomb, to unbind him and give him new meaning and purpose. Come to the church to pray, read this Sunday’s gospel and ask how Christ can bring new meaning and purpose to our life.

SPIRITUAL PRACTICE: The Way of the Cross is a spiritual practice that has special significance during Lent. We are live-streaming our Way of the Cross every Friday at 7:00 pm via the Sacred Heart Facebook page. Join us or come to the church and do a personal Way of the Cross once a week during Lent.

ANNOUNCEMENT:   Weekdays 9:00 am – 6:00 pm; Saturday 10:30 am – 6:00 pm; and Sunday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm the Church is open for personal prayer, confessions, and devotion. It’s a good opportunity to pray for so many people who need our prayers during this time. There is a collection box for weekly offering to keep the church open and serving our parishioners.
