COMING CLOSER TO CHRIST
Everything is grace because everything is God’s gift (St. Therese of Lisieux). The perspective of thanksgiving is the theme that will run at Sacred Heart Parish for the next few weeks to prepare our hearts for Thanksgiving Day and appreciate more the meaning of the Eucharist. Which parts of my life do I see as gifts?

SERVING OTHERS
Living each day not for granted but as if it were my last day on earth changes the priorities for what really matters for my final judgement. Pause before you begin the day and examine your heart for the good deeds to be done today and the relationships I need to make amends now, for we do not know the day nor hour when we will be before our judge like the Rich man in the gospel.
