32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

COMING CLOSER TO CHRIST:
In the Gospel, we see the generosity of the poor widow: She didn’t just share some of her abundance; she gave God what she had. The scribes considered that they were doing God a favor by serving him; the widow understood that God was the one doing the favors. That’s the kind of generosity God wants to see flourish in each one of us: the generosity by which we give to God from the heart.

SERVING OTHERS:
Today we celebrate Remembrance Day. We have been beneficiaries of the generosity of so many lives and people. We show our respect and gratitude to the serving and previous members of our armed forces who have sacrificed for our country. Take a moment to visit our Columbarium and to pray for the faithful departed.
