The music played or sung at weddings is meant to accompany an action (entering or leaving a church), to proclaim God’s word or offer praise to God (a musical prayer). As such, music selections used during weddings have to conform with liturgical guidelines. Our musicians will introduce you to the list of music for use at Catholic weddings, including classical as well as contemporary music, at Sacred Heart Church. No taped music is allowed. There is a basic fee for our pastoral musicians. It is not customary for the musicians to attend rehearsals. For details, please contact our choir director Barbara Orlowska at 403-248-6595.
- Your musical selections can be made by completing our Wedding Musical Program Form
