The Most Holy Trinity Sunday

Spiritual Take-away
“Let us love one another, because love comes from God.”—1 John 4. The Trinity is the foundation of our Christian faith. God created us to share in the loving relationship of the Trinity. The Father’s plan is to love us, to bring us into Trinitarian love, to share his love. He wants to love us in his Son with a Father’s eternal love. If we could catch a mere glimpse of the reality of this love, it would transform our lives. Take a moment to bask in the light of God’s love.

Going Deeper
“Do not be afraid when love makes demands. Do not be afraid when love requires sacrifice.” —St. John Paul II Love and sacrifice go hand in hand. Christ loved us and sacrificed his life for us. What sacrifice is God asking of me in my life? What can I offer up to him this week out of love?

Do you know Me, love and share Me?
In our gospel, Christ promises to be with us always. This brings us great comfort. We don’t always know what to say or how to approach someone both lovingly and with the truth of the Gospel. Jesus’ words should give us confidence that even when we feel inadequate, he is living in us and will give us the words and inspiration we need. How can I bring this Good News to someone this week?
